The Top 10 Call Centre Software
There is a lot of good call centre software out in the market. We are invited to a large number of product vendor briefings.
At a recent briefing I was asked to pull together a list of the companies that have most impressed me over the past year.So here is the list of our top 10 call centre software (in no particular order).
Plasmanet - Digital Signage software
Plasmanet call centre software allows you to see a variety of information on your call centre wallboards. It connects to a variety of data sources (such as call switches, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, in-house databases, live TV, RSS newsfeeds, and corporate videos) and then broadcasts that information across the call centre to plasma screens or direct to desktops. The software can run across multiple sites and control the content of many screens or other display devices.
You don’t have to have every screen showing the same information. For example, you can have the lunch menu being broadcast in the canteen while the day’s call statistics and live news are being broadcast to individual teams around the call centre. Content can be changed very simply and quickly, so it also has a use as an event notification tool.
There is a danger that too many ACD statistics can ’switch off’ your agents, but by mixing call statistics with fun and nurturing messages, they can be used to create a sense of community within the call centre. Examples include a daily message containing birthday greetings or a weekly ‘Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award’ including a photo of the agent that has excelled that week.
